Community Solidarity

Community Solidarity has essentially been a free grocery store for people all over Nassau County. Having provided over $26,139,587.22​ of assistance in 2019, including over 9,380,434 pounds of vegetarian groceries, Community Solidarity continues to take on food insecurity at its base.

Shelter Rock Church Food Pantry

Shelter Rock Church Food Pantry provides assistance to its community in Nassau County and all over Long Island. Whether it is sorting food, carrying bags of food to people’s cars, or helping someone shop, Shelter Rock Church Food Pantry is making the world better one step at a time.

Project Oatmeal

With more than 400 million people going hungry in New York each day, Project Oatmeal has consistently provided New York’s hungriest with large supplies of delicious, fresh oatmeal since 2008. On February 14, 2013, Project Oatmeal reached a donation total of $117,624 and purchased 674,522 meals for delivery to feed the hungry.

FAST Blackfeet

FAST (Food Access and Sustainability Team) Blackfeet is a nonprofit organization founded by a group of involved citizens who are dedicated to improving food security, providing nutrition education, and reclaiming and building food sovereignty within the Blackfeet Nation.
