About
My name is Pearce Bernstone. I am 17 years old and attend Manhasset High School in Long Island, New York. Throughout my life I have had a passion for fighting food insecurity and trying my hardest to make sure that everybody in my community is able to have a meal on their plate.
During October of 2021, I launched no1-hungry because I did not want any family in my community to go hungry during the holidays. My first fundraiser was a great success and I decided to keep the train rolling. Now, no1-hungry looks to hold a fundraiser during each holiday season to support local food pantries and food banks in Nassau County and beyond.
At no1-hungry, we believe that food is a basic human right. Everybody is entitled to food and we will fight day and night to cement this right in the heart of our community.
