Project Oatmeal Fundraiser ~ no1hungry

Recently I officially launched the no1hungry fundraiser for Project Oatmeal. Our goal is to raise more than the previous no1hungry fundraiser, which ended up being just over $3,000 dollars donated to the Shelter Rock Church Food Pantry. In order to raise money I will be passing along the GoFundMe link to various friends, students, and community members that I know will be more than happy to donate to this wonderful cause. Project Oatmeal has already raised hundreds of thousands of dollars since they started, and no1hungry is hoping to add to this amount as best as we can.

None of the money donated goes overhead, it all goes straight to purchasing oatmeal for New York’s hungriest. With each donation, a certain number of meals are able to be bought. For example, an $18 donation equates to approximately 128 meals. This statistic shows just how great it is that this organization has chosen to give oatmeal to those in need. Oatmeal is cheap so that you can buy many meals with low purchases, oatmeal is healthy, oatmeal is filling, and oatmeal always puts a smile on peoples’ faces.

If you would like to donate to Project Oatmeal and help fight against food insecurity in New York, click here or go to the get involved tab on the home page. One donation can go a long way!
