The last time that I attended Community Solidarity, we actually had much more volunteers than usual. This helped us give much more food to those in need in a much more efficient way. We each have different stations at the pantry. I typically work at the station where we give boxes of food to the people in the cars. Although it is hard work, it is 100% worth it. There are also stations where we make boxes, sort boxes, unpack boxes, and throw away/recycle the trash. The boxes of food that end up being given to the people contain the necessary foods and groceries for a family for one week so it is very important that when we make the boxes they have a variety of food, preferably healthy.
